But aren't there supposed to (well according to Amar) be two versions, one with very little content which could well sell for £20, to which extra content can be downloaded and the other, 'full fat' version which contains everything but will cost more.

If this is correct I wonder which this is?

EDIT: The RRP for the pre order is £39.99 so should be full version

Yes I saw the RRP, and it doesn't say it's the lite version. Checked the ASIN and it corresponds to the full version, so should be ok.

If not, like you I will cancel the pre order. Nothing lost, nothing gained.

I was on my PSP around 12:30am last night using the web browser when I saw this posted on HUKD's. I had my Visa right beside me and ordered, all through the PSP

I was well shocked I was able to order through the PSP, considering I cant even read email with it.

Just a quick question about Amazon pre-orders. I never usually pre-order stuff... so I'm wondering if my credit card expires before release day, will they inform me before hand or just cancel the order?

I believe you can change your payment card details at any time prior to them 'processing' your order (i.e. 1-3 days before despatch)

I've just had an email from Amazon, looks like all those who placed an order for the Cheap copy of Gran Turismo 5 won't be getting it after all
