DVE Calibration - One disc or Two ?

ADMIN: Please feel free to move this to a more appropriate forum
-------::-------

Hi,
I’m thinking of getting a Calibration tool to set my gear up.

I have HD TV in one room and CRT (Tosh 36ZP48 with Panny E55 & Toppy) in another.
Will I need two calibration tools (one for DVD & one for HD) or is there one that covers both ?

I’m looking into the Joe Kane item (region 2), which seems to be king ! I've dropped them a similar message,,,, but one never knows if actual 'companies' will reply.

thanks

Re: DVE Calibration - One disc or Two ?

I have an SD Disc as well as a duel layer HD DVDcombo disc that has the same SD program on one side HD material on the other. If you have a HD DVD player you just need the DVE HD DVD Combo disc for both.

Re: DVE Calibration - One disc or Two ?

Thanks Gaz,
Is that the 2007 DVE HD ?
Do you know if all the Joe Kane items are "Combo" items or do I need to make sure I know what to get ?

I've never used (or even seen) one before.
