Acoustic Solutions DS533 problem

Hello guys (and gals!)
I have just registered in the hope that someone can help me please???
I have an ACOUSTIC SOLUTIONS DS533 home cinema system. I have found out that there are known issues with the remote control for this set up.
Anyway, my remote control has packed up now. I have changed the batteries but it just will not work. It did work OK a short while ago and I know its not the speaker or the infra red sensor.
I read on another post that All-in-one Kameleon universal remote controls will work this system. So, I bought an 8060 and tried. NO GO!
So, I bought another one - the 8206 and still won't work. I am pulling my hair out now. I have found acoustic solutions online and emailed ALL their departments with no reply asking them poiltely for a remote code or how to get a replacement remote control unit.
i cannot even use the old remote to make the kameleon "learn" the codes of it - as it is DEAD.
All I need is a known WORKING code(s) for this system.
Can anyone help me please????

Hi there,

You could try http://www.remotes4u.co.uk/ they mainly specialise in TV/Amp remotes, but they might be able to source you a remote for your system.

Failing that, you could try code 1501 in your universal remote as posted on digitalspy forums here
