I once took Jakkie Degg of page 3 fame skiing in Norway (pictured below) along with Leah Newman also a model. Chris Waddle was there but he didn't get out of the wagon as his tootsies were cold, incidentally we spent most of the evening before calling Chris 'Glen' and we rigged up a banner in the bar that said 'Welcome Jakkie, Leah and Glenn Hoddle'!
Jakkie Degg, nice to look at but not all that bright:
I was in a bar where Mick Skinner of England Rugby fame was drinking and people were getting autographs and he was loving it so I put him down a bit when I said 'see you later Mr Beaumont' when he left...

Coming out of a cafe in Montreal and bumped into Brad Pitt as he was pushing i was pulling (the door) i in typical Brit mode 'alright mate how you doing' as if i'd known him for years! He replied Hello and carried on lol
Funny one, i did the IT for Blackburn Rovers and i was at the senior training camp talking to Mark Hughes & Tugay, went home was telling the partner about the chat and she replied 'who's too gay Mark Hughes? lol I was going to tell him but he left lol
I have met a few famous people over the years, 2 that stand out are:-
George Foreman who was a guest speaker at my firms 10th Anniversary function in New York. Found it absolutely bizarre at the end of the function sitting round a small table with him and a few others talking about boxing, just as you would sitting in a bar with some mates. A real gent who unlike some would go out of their way for fans.
2nd is Vic Reeves and was a little funny, I was waiting in the entrance of WH Smith in Maidstone, Kent for my wife and he caught my eye, firstly he just looked familiar and I was trying to put a name to the face, he walked closer and I realized. He looked awkward as has probably been in that position thousands of times and I did not know what to say, we both managed an awkward smile and that was that until....
Next day 5 miles away in the Rochester branch of Toys R Us, had finished paying for my goods and returned to my car. Walked to the boot and Vic Reeves was loading his boot next to me. I thought a little quicker this time and accused him of stalking me He was with his much younger (and very attractive partner)
Did not really have a conversation, but was funny.
Played pool with dave Courtney in Charlton, met Brooke Kinsella in Cyprus, was kissed on the cheek as a toddler in GOSH by Princess Di, met Wendy Richards, Phil Daniels, Jack Ryder and as a teenager, my best mate's dad was Pat Murray (Mickey pearce in OFAH).
In work capacity, I have talked with Jack Straw, Malcolm Rifkind and Douglas Alexander.

I once had dinner at the same table as Catherine Zeta Jones - who was lovely.
I did 'knuckles' with Goldie at a party.
In work, I've given presentations to many politicians, mostly the Welsh ones, or Welsh Secretaries, but also the President of Ireland Mary McAleese.
I spoke to Arthur C Clarke via satellite phone.
I bumped into Jonathan King in New York once - when he discovered I was English he seemed very keen to stand in front of me grinning. I pretended not to know who he was.
Danny John Joules, who played the Cat in red dwarf spent a lot of time in my local pub when I lived in Somerset. He came to several of the local parties - we even 'shared' a girl. Not the same night mind
I lived across the road from a recording studio in Chalk Farm. When I was about 15-16 I was well into 2 tone. We knew that a band we liked (The Beat)were going to be recording there so me and my mates showed up. They invited us in, we watched them record their album. We were the "clappers" on their single, Too Nice To Talk To .At about 2.25 in this video is me and my mates . Im the one with the dark hair in the black bomber jacket. They looked after us for a couple of weeks, taking us to see the album being pressed, took us to see Aretha Franklin at The Astoria .
Worked as a postie in Hampstead. If it counts, I "met" Glynys Barber,Judy Dench and her husband Mike Williams,George Michael.Roy Hattersley, he was giving a speech at an unveiling of a blue plaque. I pushed through the crowd to post a letter, he made some remark about how the post must get through .
Oh and I met Bing off of Brookside up in Liverpool . And I was in a kebab shop with Rhino AKA Keith Stevens of Millwall after a night out at The Duncow on the Old Kent Road ....about 20!!!! years ago
