paypal disputes

Anyone know how long paypal take to settle a dispute. Ive uploaded all the postage receipts saturday, just wondered how long it takes for them to close it.

This is for a "authorised use" claim. To be honest i think its a absolute joke paypal can with hold my money for this. I could understand if it was a dispute for item not recieved. But to hold my money for something that i have no control over is pathetic.

Re: paypal disputes

In my experience, around 2-3 weeks is typical.

Re: paypal disputes

I know they take about 10 day's to settle a dispute. One of the worst things we found out to our cost with paypal is that this 10 day's of them doing nothing means somebody can transfer the money out of their paypal account into their nominated bank account and paypal can't chase the money any further just suspend their ebay account, even the police don't want to know so essentially somebody can pretend to own something for say a £1000 flog it on ebay and pretend they posted it 1st class to you (no record of course) and it's not even classed as fraud.
