Question What small Wifi enabled amp?

Hi peeps.

I know it's probably not the correct place to post this but I know all you GC posters are the bees knees when it comes to finding good answers to peoples questions.

I'm on the look out for a small audio amp that can receive wifi music streams from my laptop. What I want to do is put this amp in my bathroom (with speakers of course) so that I can wallow in the tub whilst listening to my favourite choons!

Does this type of amp actually exist?

Any help would once again be very much appreciated.

Re: What small Wifi enabled amp?

i don't think an amp like that exists, but you might be better off using an FM transmitter like itrips that let you tune your car radio in to listen to your ipod, then you can get a splashproof battery powered radio or ghettoblaster for the bathroom. you won't have normal power sockets in your bathroom, and the moisture etc would affect normal electronics, so if the wifi amp existed it wouldn't be suitable for a steamy bathroom

What about something like the Pure Evoke Flow?

It'll stream the music from your pc (and serve as an internet radio too)

Squeezebox Boom

Was £129 at Amazon with a voucher but not suitable for a steamy bathroom though.
