Live Avian Flu Virus Sent to 18 Countries In Vaccine Materials

Quote:
Last December, the Austrian branch of US vaccine company Baxter sent a batch of ordinary human H3N2 flu, altered so it couldn't replicate, to Avir Green Hills Biotechnology, also in Austria. In February, a lab in the Czech Republic working for Avir alerted Baxter that, unexpectedly, ferrets inoculated with the sample had died. It turned out the sample contained live H5N1

release of a mixture of live H5N1 and H3N2 viruses could have resulted in dire consequences. While H5N1 doesn't easily infect people, H3N2 viruses do. If someone exposed to a mixture of the two had been simultaneously infected with both strains, he or she could have served as an incubator for a hybrid virus able to transmit easily to and among people.

Was the viral contamination intentional?
The shocking answer is that this couldn't have been an accident. Why? Because Baxter International adheres to something called BSL3 (Biosafety Level 3) - a set of laboratory safety protocols that prevent the cross-contamination of materials.

And how do YOU feel about this? Why did you post large amounts of text without actually saying anything about it?

Surely the point of this thread is opinionated? But how are we supposed to know what your opinion is without you actually saying anything?

I'm not having a go at you or anything.

Re: Live Avian Flu Virus Sent to 18 Countries In Vaccine Materials

As far as i can tell such a large story which could have resulted in pretty dire consequence has all but been ignored by main stream UK media? - so to me the point of this thread rests more on the informative side.
That said, this is a message board, so people can discuss & offer/exchange opinions if they so wish.
But I don't think my opinion on this stroy will change the fact we seem to be living in very dangerous times.

remember this:
Quote:
the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs said that the strain of foot and mouth disease found on a farm in southern England was identical to one used at a nearby laboratory.
Quote:
"The FMD strain found in Surrey is not one currently known to be recently found in animals. It is most similar to strains used in international diagnostic laboratories and in vaccine production, including at the Pirbright site shared by the Institute of Animal Health (IAH) and Merial Animal Health Ltd, a pharmaceutical company. The present indications are that this strain is a 01 BFS6–like virus, isolated in the 1967 Foot and Mouth Disease outbreak in Great Britain. This strain is present at the IAH and was used in a batch manufactured in July 2007 by the Merial facility

at the same time, it could have easily been human error or even a systems error, and not biological warfare. if someone with the access to contaminate those virals actually wanted to use biological warfare, they wouldn't have to relay on any level of chance, as reported above

Re: Live Avian Flu Virus Sent to 18 Countries In Vaccine Materials

There is a secret organisation, a group of people that control and force global events, hardly any one knows about this group and those that do refuse to admit they exist, imho this is their way of halting a global depression, by causing a pandamic virus outbreak. This group is even more powerful than girls aloud.
