as mine is wrong ?? not a typo or anything - completely wrong.

some random address - nothing like my email address - which is rather worrying. I wondered why I hadnt got any online statements.

wondering if its a database error - certainly not aware of my account ever being hacked - certainly no money has ever been messed around with

not going to be a pleasant phone call with them in the morning -not happy that my statements (even if they can't do anything with them as such) have been sent to a complete stranger - assuming this particular email address even exists (hopefully it does not) - I almost wonder whether when my details were updated perhaps instore once - the person accidently put their email in (you know when you are in autopilot mode)

Im with HSBS online banking, they dont sent out statements via email. You have to log in to your account to view them.
You have 2 choices, online statements or online statements + paper statements sent to your home address.
The only things sent to an email address would be general marketing material and nothing what so ever to do with your account, in any case if the email is wrong just change it

Not aware that "online banking" actuallly emailed any statements? I have online statements with the HSBC. It has the correct email address but I have NEVER got a statement via email.

same here, ive never had an emailed statement from HSBC, ive gone down the 'green' account route and so only can view statements online now, but never have had any emailed statements in the 3/4 yrs ive been online banking with hsbc.

If i did i would assume it was a phising scam anyway!
