Another pic here, looks like they shunted? Also says up to 6 articulated lorries collided but the red one in that pic is not an articulated lorry.......

I enjoy most of your posts, but recently you're just coming over as a complete prat.

Edit: and yes MODS I deserve an infraction as I shouldn't post when in a foul mood.

Having seen how close lorrys drive to each other I'm surprised this doesn't happen more often!

Exactly, stopping distances are the main reason, thats why most of them get annoyed when cars cut in front of them when it would be safe for a car, a lorry however has a few ton behind it to try stop too.

I don't get annoyed, I just wonder how some of them have managed to live so long I know about the stopping distances but what I don't understand is how so many managed to end up in it. If they were reading the road properly they should have seen it coming hence my comment about them being asleep It happens with cars all the time but lorry drivers are supposed to be more aware which makes me wonder who is training and/or employing these people

dustcarts are a lot of fun to drive especially when it's icy, you can spin them around really easy as they have a lot of back end swing but I think this is what also catches people out, scarey when they are full though! Lot of points for a BMW, most I've managed was a ford Ka(K)

probably - it seems to be the root cause of a lot of accidents involving lorries. Unlawfully long hours, then a long stint on a motorway, get into a convoy, doze off, bang.

Re: unbelievable!

Around there it's 1 of the most congested area's of motorway, the gov should force the private motorway to lower there prices not put them up to stop people using it and wearing the road out.

Re: unbelievable!

Problem with lorries is slowing down costing time and money when your getting back up to speed.

On the motorway they seem to drive closely to 'get in the slipstream' or play games of silly overtaking where it takes them about 5 mins to get past then they cut in dead close.

Not surprised really.
