Anyone have any old spare 1st class rail tickets

Hi

I know its a bit of an odd request but I want to join a travellers club through my work and to do so I need 8 first class return tickets or 16 first class singles and I just wondered if anyone had any they no longer use, they need to be for the previous 3months as well, if anyone has can you please PM me, the tickets can be stamped etc written on so no problem what state they are in

Many thanks

Have a word with the ticket collecter at your local station, bung him a cost of a pint and you should be ok.

Cheers, not a bad idea but it seems that most of the stations by me now are the electronic ones which keep your ticket if it has expired now anyway...but good idea cheers I'll give it a go

your point about electronic ones makes me think, how can they ask for 8 / 16 tickets?

Sorry I may have not been clear in that in Chester the gates are electronic rather than old fashioned collectors and therefore if your tickets have run the course when you swipe them through the gate they don't come out most of the time so I was hoping that someone may have the first part of the ticket which they haven't had to give in maybe or if they have been lucky to have kept hold of the return ticket.

Still ask polietly as when i worked at london underground stations i didn't mind fishing for peoples tickets when they got retained at gates, it takes less than a minute to open the side bit take out the bin and put the thing back together, good luck with this
