looking for a model ship
my better half is working for a ship management company and she's been telling me about how nice their model ships are for weeks now.
well, her birthday is coming up fast and i thought i'd get her a modern high detail commercial cargo ship model
does anyone have a clue as to where i can find something like this? a short search in google only yielded centuries old warship models. i'm looking for a present day cargo/container or tanker ships.
thanks

Re: looking for a model ship
Whats wrong with a model ship for a girl? Not everyone prefer diamond, gold,a cruise or perhaps designe clothes[if i was you i take o board the suggestion of a lawier]The only thing think of your girfriend close in in own room for days building this ship[can take up mounth].So days of freedoms or lonlyness?

Re: looking for a model ship
Understanding women Rule 1 of 10000000000:
A woman saying she likes something does not necessarily mean she wants one, it simply means she likes it. And if you buy her one your in the doghouse becuase your were not being thoughtful you was being lazy for not listening to the real truth (which you wont know anyway)
If she works in the environment i doubt she would want her free time filled with building a copy to look nothing like the ones at work, which inturn will make her feel incompetent which will then all be your fault.
Chocolates always win, unless shes a bloater then she will think you dont understand shes trying to lose weight and you simply just dont care lol

Re: looking for a model ship
Why not try to combine the traditional with the untraditional.
Eg name a rose for her, if she's called Torrey Canyon you're on a winner...
World of Roses - Unique roses, exclusively named by you!
