Seeing at it's just after 1am i thought i'd share my first youtube vid upload with you
It's of my crazy dog, hamish. He's taken to ignoring his own toys and making his own fun.

Re: My first YouTube vid
Without my 2 dogs, (Akita and Ridgeback) I would be a very depressed and lonely person. They're not the smartest breeds, but they are the best companions you could ever have.
The first thing my GF asks is 'how are the babies' (no cocern about me).
I had a Doberman which died 6 years ago and he was without doubt the most intelligent dog I have ever had the pleasure of sharing my life with.
Your Gordon Setter reminded me of him (facially like a Doberman with longer hair).

Re: My first YouTube vid
you're right, when he was a puppy and his hair was shorter he got mistaken for a doberman quite often.
I feel the same way about my 'kids' as you

Non long term Dog owners would never understand it though.
Must say though I spend so much time cleaning after dirty paws (in the case of Akita bear paws) I wonder if it is worth it.

Re: My first YouTube vid
I'm having a 17th century barn conversion done and the muts often go on site with me.
They've both got rather used to the 'paw wash' (bucket of warm water and a bit of dtergent).
trouble is they both see it as a great excuse for 'daddy I'm clean now (so I'll go and get even muckier!!!!).
I go running with them every morning but I realise I'm getting older and they're getting fitter.
