Trading Standards?

I am absolutely FURIOUS and wanted to ask if/what I can do about it.

I purchased something from eBay back in December. When it FINALLY arrived and I inspected it, I saw right away that it was counterfeit. The seller, eBay, and Paypal are ALL telling me I waited too long to report it and there is nothing they can do.
This is complete ********!!!! This item is a fake; the seller committed a crime in selling it and eBay and Paypal both facilitated it by providing the means to do so.
Is there a Business Practices Board or something of the sort I can report this to? I want this dick to fry!

Re: Trading Standards?

And try reporting it to the company who actually own the product that is counterfeitted.

If its a large multi-national company they should have a brand protection department who [may] look into it. Although you wouldn't get anything from them apart from satisfaction they may get caught.

Re: Trading Standards?

If you used paypal and a credit card or amex, the card company should be able to get the money back. Otherwise it's going to be pretty difficult. Can the police do anything?

All the CC company will do is refund you from paypal - you then go into debit with paypal and they chase you for the money the CC company got.

I'd put it down to experience If I were you. Why did it take until now to be delivered?
