I made a new account just because i wanted the name blackballoon and its been banned for having a dupe account but i was in the middle of selling 2 items please can you un ban blackballoon and ban this account

The forum rules are quite explicit about only using one name and if you wanted the name changed you should have asked rather than just create a new account

I know i didnt know i sold 2 games to SergeAnt Fino and i received paypal payment and went to post them - came back to find the account banned and i cant find the thread

Unfortunately your account was banned by the worst tempered mod of the lot and your chances of getting him to review his decision are very poor.

Why not PM the bloke that you sold the games to and ask him for his address

Why not just help the guy out instead of posting "smart" remarks?

After all, your here to help, no? Or is it just a power trip?

Having experience myself of running a fair-szed vBulletin forum, I know that it can be a pain in the ass when folks don't play by the rules. However, the guy has asked nicely and frankly, its taken more effort and keystrokes to laugh at him than it would have done to fix his request.

maybe you can just rename his banned account so the ban stays in place and he gets just and only what he wanted... a name change

have to admit finding the change a name thing is hard when you dont even know it exists

Apologies. Previous post removed as I was reading too quickly and made a mistake

Anyway the point is the forum has a facility to request a name change so no need to re-register as you cannot have duplicate accounts. As pointed out the OP should PM the buyer to complete the deal, instead of trying to complete a trade under a different alias. I daresay the buyer would have been confused to say the least
