wondering where to put your savings??

I know all investments should be seen as risky but read through the article and see the part about the woman investing £30k in soveriegns which are now worth £250K

Oh, nice move, many years ago my Dad spent £15,000 on 15,000 records off a mate, turned out the collection had some picture discs, nice rare test pressings and a couple of acetates.
Managed to get some 3 figure sums for a couple of different records now so that's turning out to be an okay investment, record collectors are always looking to buy too, same with any kind of collectors really.

I'm wanting to buy a load of figures from movies and stuff as they always go up in value but i've got other more important things to buy first, mostly av and computer realted

Yeah I think I will stick to my die-cast model cars and N scale railway locos personally...hopefully will make a good ebay income for my lad when I am gone

*EDIT* Mad... the postman has just been with a junk mail which offered to sell me Gold Bars £995 an Oz *EDIT*
