If you go to the forum index and scroll right to the bottom, it tells you "Most ever users online, at the moment it was 5528 on 5th Jan 09.
You're right, it probably will be broken today

The Christmas period is always the buusiest time of the year as people join up to ask questions about something they received for Christmas.

Other busy times tend to be when there is a major console release in the gaming market.

Unless there is something happening that i don't know about I don't expect the record to be broken today as during the week most people log in from work and there seem to be rather a lot not working today

I've never logged in from work, but I'm mainly based from home anyway. So technically I suppose I have.

I assumed there would be more people glued to their PC's due to being stuck at home (Snow!)
