Okay me and the girlfriend were gonna go away for valentine's weekend, although we've left it quite late now. Today I thought stuff it, I'm just gonna book something up and surprise her.

But then I had a thought...

I remember her saying (strange though it is) that she's never seen an icicle lol!? So was thinking, is there anywhere in this country I could take her to see some good ones? Maybe I'm going mad here but gotta be some decent caves or something somewhere lol.

Hasn't got to be the actual valentine week as we both agreed we don't mind waiting a week or two extra, but just wanna see if it's possible? If not, back to the drawing board I guess

Cheddar Gorge in Somerset!

I haven't been there since the 80s though, so it might well have "touristified" up a bit since.

Hmm... I'm really trying to find an ice cave or something. Those ones posted look really nice, but am I guaranteed to get ice in those? Other wise I think my plan of showin her just some rock lol, might not go down as well.

I've been recommended the ice car in London here too...

If you hurry and come to Milton Keynes i'll charge you £10 a head to come see the icicles in my backgarden.

I don't think you'll get icicles in either cave.
