how to rip audio from x264 mkv file?

sorry if this isnt in the right forum, really wasnt sure where to put it. does anyone know how to do this? want to make a prodigy live video into an mp3, the details of it are (if this helps):

²³ ºARTiST : The Prodigy ³±
²³ ºTiTLE : Worlds on Fire Live at T in The Park ³±
²³ ºRELEASE DATE : 06/09/2008 ³±
²³ ºSOURCE : DVB ³±
²³ ºFORMAT : PAL x264 ³±

Does anyone know how to do it or if its possible, want to stick it on my ipod :D
