Talking For "SimLive" - The Water-Cooled PC Thread

Hi,

Sadly, SimLive's hilariously profane "Parcelforce" thread here, - in which he ordered a piece of satellite equipment from Estonia the day before New Year's Eve, paid for some kind of express delivery (3-5 working days), and then ranted on and on and on when the parcel hadn't turned up earlier this week - has now been closed. (Boo! ) Ultimately, we all discovered that SimLive's satellite equipment mysteriously "disappeared" at some point in the Estonian Postal Service.

However, several people wanted to read about the infamous AV Forums "Water-Cooled PC" thread, which became very notorious around the globe, as word spread across the World Wide Web!

The thread, started by AV Forums member "Comer", implied that Comer had tried to cool his PC with water, and it (obviously) broke down. The thing is, though, that whilst the thread was never intended to be anything more than a basic thread on how to water-cool a PC, it suddenly became an Internet cult, and people from all over the World began to post in the thread.

Anyway, for anyone who wishes too, the original and VERY LONG 21-page thread can be read here!

Enjoy this piece of Internet history!!

Shouldn't you be using spoilers instead of telling people what the thread is about. Why would anyone want to read 21 pages when you've spoiled the ending!!

That thread wasn't that great, the water cooling thread walks all over it. Much better read.

No, his was genuine, as far as anyone knows. But it provided several members of these forums with plenty of laughs, in the same vein as the "Water-Cooled PC" thread did!

Also, I've edited my original post, as per Dony's notes - to avoid ruining the thread for newcomers.
