Sorry to hear about your bad experience
I had an order go missing before. All they asked was to fill in the form on their site and they immediately sent me a replacement, which I had 2 days later.
I also had a few queries about items coming into stock, prices, etc. and when I've called always had top-notch service.
I know it's not justified, but the Christmas rush is probably getting to them. They're a small company and are probably overrun. Still, every customer should get the same service regardless.
I've found not a bad experience to be had in my opinion, but sadly things do happen, and sadly you sometimes get put through to some numpties anywhere you call for help. Your experience is with ShopTo, mine's with Gamestation (but that's another story.) It really does suck it happens though.
