Question Best route from Bristol to Bournemouth

Ok, we're having a bit of a debate here in the office (all two of us) about the best way for me to get from Bristol to Bournemouth this afternoon...

Choices are:

A36/A350 - Somerset/Dorset
or
M4/A34/M3/M27 - Newbury bypass etc

What do you reckon?

PS: Thats driving not walking!

Re: Best route from Bristol to Bournemouth

If you are heading to our lovely town () then i would head for the A36 towards Salisbury. Then A338 towards Ringwood and then on down to Bournemouth.

To be honest, whichever way you go is gonna be fairly busy.

if you go the A36 route then in Salisbury, just keep to the ring roads and they will lead you to the A338.

All IMHO.
