Man's Greatest Achievement #1: Domino-toppling

BBC NEWS | World | Europe | World domino record set on TV

Come on. How can you look at this and not failed to be impressed at the painstaking weeks of work it must've taken? And one slip and you've bollocksed up the whole thing and everyone else hates you!

That was awesome. It is something that has always fascinated me. I used to love the episode of 'Malcolm in the Middle' with the Domino's.

Edit:

Exclamation Re: Man's Greatest Achievement #1: Domino-toppling

Hi,

"Domino Day 2008" was actually shown, albeit with naff, unfunny commentary, on Five, on Saturday afternoon! Was great, except for the shockingly crass commentary from some US surfer dude, and even from the usually quite good Jason "Gadget Show" Bradbury.

Wish I'd known that. May have a search on their catch up service.

Great display, and I laughed my head off at his distress at having missed the whole thing just to get his camera, I feel sorry for the poor sod.

What gets me though is, what mysterious supernatural force caused the first domino to topple? No way was it a gust from that door.

Re: Man's Greatest Achievement #1: Domino-toppling

My daughter called me on Saturdy afternoon to tell me about the Channel 5 Domino Day 2008 (or whatever). It was fascinating. Apart from inane and incomprehensible babble from the mic jocks.
