Incorporating a company.

Hi Guys

I want to go ahead with incorporating my company, we produce video.

Been reading for a while and just want something cleared up.

I follow the stages along on one of the sites you can use to form the company, at the end you get to choose the amount of shares, how many and how much there worth.

I selected 1000 and £1 each and the total cost was £28, can someone explain?

Cheers

Re: Incorporating a company.

My guess is that you selected a Nominal Capital of £1,000 which is a maximum authorised share capital but you have probably only issued 2 shares which gives you an Issued Capital of £2 and is pretty much the standard for small companies.

You can issue a further 998 shares without a board meeting and special resolution
