Halloween outfit for a 2 Year Old

Our Nursery is having a Halloween themed day which is fancy dress...I didn't read the letter from last week and only saw the poster of it today when I dropped him off.

What kind of outfit can I get for a two year old that's not off the internet because I have no time for delivery? Any ideas what I can knock up from scratch?

Creative people please help!!!

Most large supermarkets seem to be doing kids outfits now.

Re: Halloween outfit for a 2 Year Old

I have a Tesco nearby, I'll check it out on the way home...thanks. (I'll be gobsmacked if they do Russell Brand outfits though).

Re: Halloween outfit for a 2 Year Old

Yeah, I saw the other when I visited Tesco they had a good selection of outfits, such as Witches, Skeletons, Ghosts I think. If you saw Neighbours yesterday, they had a 18th B'day for Declan and you could do a zombie (or vampire) with some white face paint, fake teeth some red for blood, perhaps a cape for the vampire and a torn and dirty suit for a zombie.

All the supermarkets do them for little'uns! Asda has heaps as well. And Marks and Spencers have some really cute ones! We've got my friends 4 month old baby a little pumpkin outfit!!! Aaaaahhhhh! Cute!

I was beginning to panic...supermarkets to the rescue! Who says they ruin small town economies, I wouldn't have got anything like that at my local shop! Thanks...skeleton sounds cool.

TBH, SWMBO get's frightened of skeletons and monsters even now. Not sure I'd want to expose a two year old to the same. If you're willing to put up with potential nightmares, then fair enough. But youngsters have a problem with separating reality from make believe.

Re: Halloween outfit for a 2 Year Old

We found the younger the child the less choice, expect a number of pumpkin outfits as they're well suited for the smaller child Or you could read that there maybe a fair few pumpkins at the fancy dress if they're all around 2, so you may drop on and go for something different.

Really? Our kids have always loved halloween, we have some great pics from over the years too, they're 5 & 7 now and are busy making Halloween decorations as I type

He doesn't seem too fussed by anything scary, we went to The Deep yesterday and they had a lifelike and lifesize robotic Zombie Pirate corpse, with an eye missing, laughing at him and he thought it was hilarious!

Exactly , back then the cheapest and worst outfits got all the goodies out of sympathy.
