Best Coffee Making Machine

Hi All

just want some advice really on what coffee machine to get as I am a coffee drinker I am more into the whole Latte and Capaccino side of coffee instead of the filter coffee, so what good house hold machines are out there for making a good latte?

Re: Best Coffee Making Machine

I can thoroughly recommend a Nespresso machine, definitely buy the Aeroccino (from Nespresso) if you're into your latte's/cappuccino's.

Re: Best Coffee Making Machine

All down to your budget. If you are feeling pretty flush, then go for a fancy bean to cup machine with a milk frothing jug.
Pricey!

Re: Best Coffee Making Machine

We've got a Tassimo and it makes great Coffee, Tea, Hot Chocolate etc!
But if you've got the budget get a proper italian coffee machine.

Re: Best Coffee Making Machine

Some of the best coffee you can get is via a proper espresso machine such as a Gaggia classic, or Rancillo Silvia (Budget end of scale). It takes patience to learn how to pull a decent cuppa though, but once you do , its the best you can get. its also worth looking at a grinder, so your coffee is a fresh as can be.

I use a Gaggia classic, and an Iberital MC2 grinder (HD0866*Iberital*MC2*Auto*::*Iberital*MC2*Grinders* ::*Coffee*Grinders*::*UK*Coffee*Suppliers*-*Happy*Donkey) and get great coffee. Have a gander at Freshly roasted coffee from Hasbean for you freshly roasted beans :-)

This little set of emails is also very good to teach more about coffee.. Coffee 101 by Has Bean Coffee Ltd Home Coffee Course

Re: Best Coffee Making Machine

I'm going with drunkeh on this one.

The rancilio silva has lots of good things said about it on the web.

I would go with that one....my local O'Briens uses them and they

make the nicest latte

Yeah, the Aeroccino froths &/or heats milk & works very well

There's a lot of 'snobism' when it comes to coffee & coffee makers but if all you want is a good cup of coffee with the minimum of fuss (no faffing about with grinders etc ) then Nespresso is for you.

Nespresso has a serious reputation & after reading articles like The cult of Nespresso: Could it really be the best cup of coffee money can buy? - The Independent I bought the 'Le cube' & have happily used it everyday since!
