Worlds Smallest Bluray Player

No really it has the same dimensions as two dvd cases put side by side, the actual bluray drive in the unit has a height of only 9.5mm, bare in mind a laptop drive has a height of 12.7mm.

Oh it also comes with a built in 11.1" display and with a resolution of 1366*768 puts most LCD displays to shame with Ultra high contrast ratio, deep black and an insanely high brightness, the display alone reatails for £500

As for the specs, it's powered by a 1.4GHZ Core 2 Duo CPU with 800MHZ FSB, 3MB Cache which uses only 9 watts of power, features 4GB DDR 3 Memory, 2 x 128GB Solid State Drives in Raid 0, for the hardware decoding it features the latest Intel X4500 GPU which can handle up to 40mbps VC1/H264

The usual card reader, usb, HDMI, firewire, ethernet and wireless ABGN slots as standard

Also note that it is able to run on a battery..

The Sony bit puts me off, but am I carrying excess prejudice baggage from years ago I should be discarding these days?

Honest question actually, before I am annihilated for it
