Thumbs down Spots

I've been doing some dirty floor digging for work at the moment and it looks like the dirty work will continue for some time. Not sure if it's me scratching my face too much or is I'm wiping sweat away but I seem to have come out with quite a few nasty spots. Is there an effective over the counter treatment?

Re: Spots

Make sure you're using a good exfoliating scrub/soap at least 2-3 times a week.

Up until a few months ago, I used to suffer REALLY badly from spots, until I started the below treatment. (My sister in law works for Lush so recommends the products for me!)

Wash my face 2 times a week with Herbalism cleansing wash.

All other mornings (and on an evening) I use Fresh Farmacy soap.

After every shower / face wash, I apply moisturiser - I use Cosmetic Lad - works like a charm and smells lovely.

If your face is being subject to harsh conditions, a good moisturiser is essential. I used to spend a LOT of money on Clinique products, which although they did help, didn't have the same effect as the Lush products.

I would steer clear of any Clearsil type treatments. In most cases the high alcohol content aggrivates the skin more.

My girlfriend tells me to use TCP and seems to enjoy putting it on me - it hurts a lot!

TCP can be a good short term measure, which in your case may be good, as you are attributing your spots to the different working conditions. However, TCP is very strong, so if you are putting it onto your face, make sure you are diluting it.

It will also dry the skin out, so moisturise
