Question James Bond Fancy Dress

Going to a James Bond fancy dress on Sat. Want a costume as one of the other characters - not Bond. Any ideas? Preferably something cheapish and easy.

Odd Job? - Bowler hat and suit.
How about Scuba gear and a plastic duck on your head.
Blofield?
Blofields Cat?
Royal Navy Officer Uniform?

Re: James Bond Fancy Dress

Get a few large cardboard boxes and some white spray paint. Make the White Lotus mini sub car (complete with fins etc) Cut a hole in the center box\car and step inside it, use 2 shoulder straps to suspend the car at aroundwaist/stomach level (like baggy clown trouser braces) so you are stood inside it. I've seen this done as a biplane and its very effective and gets a laugh

Cheap option, if you can find a third nipple easily

Go as Nik-Nak in a small suit case?

Going to go for the easy option - Oddjob. Have a suit. Just need a bowler hat. Does anyone know what type of gun he had? Can't find any images.

Don't know if he actually used a gun, his hat was his weapon, on the Pussy Galore suggestion, seriously, pin some stuffed toy cats to your top and strides and hay presto Pussy Galore

I'm sure he uses a gun at some point. I'll look into it.

It looks like a .45 or possibly a 9mm,with a silencer.

Re: James Bond Fancy Dress

Isn't illegal to carry replica guns? I doubt anyone will know the difference between a water pistol and a gun looking like a 9mm with a silencer. Besides, you could fill a water pistol with drink and dispense as and when needed!

You raise a valid point, don't wave the gun about in public, that could cause some serious problems with plod

Especially when you've downed a few sherberts
