Wierd, I know...but help with prism specs!

After watching The Bucket List with my girlfriend a few weeks ago, she jokingly said "I want a pair of those" regarding Jack Nicholson's prism specs. I looked on the internet and they fly at £50 a pop so I immediately dropped the idea of buying a pair and now, as a joke prezzie, I'm going to make her a pair for when she gets back from holiday (in 3 weeks). I essentially figure I'll buy some cheap sunglasses (with plastic lenses) and cut out an appropriate shaped square in the middle of the lens upon which I'll place a 45 degree mirror embedded into a acrylic section.

Problem is I can't locate anyone who'll shape such a small acrylic section and I dunno if this little plan of mine will work. Anyone got any bright ideas as to how I could see this through?

I'm not sure what spec's you are talking about, but what about the self adhesive thingies, for your rear screen to help when reversing, these may do somethign similar to what you want at a decent price for a joke gift??

ask at your local opticians about stick on freshnel lenses, which some sell, but you might spend more than by buying the proper glasses to start with.
