my mates lives on a corner house, his gates on the normal place infront, but he wanted a gate on the side of the house but has a wall going around, is it possible to do so and will it be expensive???

What sort of wall and how high and how thick?
What sort of gate ? (double castle doors or a simple low metal gate)
How far is the wall from the house ? (if a path is needed)

quite thick bricked wall, just above waist high

he wants wood fencing around on top of the wall(about over head height) and high wood gate matching the fence
