Any Builders/Roofers price info/experience...

Need a rough price for a new roof on a 3-bed semi. Just had a homebuyers survey done and its come back saying the roof is sagging between rafters etc. Might not need a whole new roof but i want to try knock the price of the house down as much as i can so might aswell get a quote for a whole new roof.

Ive done a search on the net but getting prices from £2k - £15k ??

Assuming you mean removal of existing tiles, felt (if there is any) and battens, then new felt, battens and concrete tiles, then you're looking in the region of £4-£6k all in. Don't forget, you'll need scaffolding at around £1-1.5k. Also don't forget you'll now need to insulate the roof if it's not done already - it's 'the law' now! If the house is more than 60 years old and the roof is looking dodgy (and is the original roof) I'd push for a new roof - they only have a lifespan of upto 60 years anyway.
