Sanding floors - minimising dust?

I have to have my wooden floors sanded and am not looking forward to the prospect of the dust getting into every nook and cranny. Does anyone have any tips on how to minimise the problem, or any experience of using the so-called dust-free systems like Bona? Any guidance gratefully received.

If you use one of the upright sanders they have the bag built into them like a hoover.

Re: Sanding floors - minimising dust?

The upright sander I hired was totaly dust free (not a speck) It looked like an oversized Hoover junior with a large canvas bag to catch the dust,

hang damp sheets on the walls and over the door, these will collect quite a bit of wood dust also.
