Burton menswear

I very much enjoy keeping my wardrobe fresh and have, to date, relied upon H&M for the less showy pieces of clothing - white t-shirts, plain shirts and the like. I'm increasingly noticing the difference in quality between the clothing available at these retailers and the likes of All Saints, Lyle & Scott etc. whilst still not being able to afford all of my outfits from the latter manufacturers. That got me thinking back along the lines of Burton - a company I've shied away from for several years after noticing their clothing lacked quality and lasted only a few weeks/washes.

Has anyone used them recently? I'm looking into buying trousers and waistcoat from them and if there's is just likely to be as bad as H&M's, I'll have to rely on Debenhams' next sale.

Re: Burton menswear

I never shop in Philip Green's stores
- cheap/chav looking, low quality, yet not always low priced

only really ever get stuff in the sales at the designer outlet villages (Braintree Freeport, Bicester Village) or in the US when I'm there on work (Banana Republic)
- and usually tends to be around the same price you would pay at Burtons
