Re: Where to sell dvd film?

depends on how much hassle you want to go through. You could sell them indiv on forums or ebay etc. Or just take them down to cex or blockbuster.

I dont want the hassle of selling them indiv. If i take them down to cex or blockbusters which do you think would give the best price!

Re: Where to sell dvd film?

Neither, dvd's aren't worth a lot these days. You are like to get less than £5 each for most of them (when I say less than £5, I'm being generous, more in the region of £3/£4).
If you have special editions/boxsets/rare films, then they will be worth more.

Exclamation Re: Where to sell dvd film?

Red Devil,

In my opiinion, you would be far better off making up a list of all the titles you want to sell, and either advertising them on the AV Forums, or go via e-Bay or one of the movie-purchasing stores in London (see the back of movie magazines, for the adverts and contact details).

I would NOT recommend Cex, Blockbuster, Chav Generator, or any other of the buy-back companies or computer games stores that exist, as you will be royally screwed over. (Chav Generator now have a flat-price of 50p for single DVD's no matter what the title, and upto £1-50 for most boxed-sets, with large, multi-disc sets with 8 discs or more, getting about £2-50!)

If, however, money is not the most important thing, then by all means, use one of the shops I mentioned above. But, you will not get a good deal, unless you are very, very lucky! Use the Forums or e-Bay if you have the time, even if you decide to sell the discs in sets or as a single, job-lot of 200+ discs for X price!
