Computer Chair Problem

Heya guys, had a chair for quite a while now with a lever so you can adjust the hight.

The problem I am having is that when I sit on it it keeps going down by itself and when I get up it pops back up and this is without touching the lever.

Anyone know if this chairs a writeoff or is it a problem that can be solved ?

Re: Computer Chair Problem

If you are going to buy a new chair try costco. The one i want is a bit step at £120 but is the most comfiest chair i have ever sat in ( with leather and memory foam)

Re: Computer Chair Problem

I would prefer to try and get this one fixed as I do like this chair but I have had it quite a few years.

There is a large nob underneath the char that can be turned to the left and right but I dont have a clue as to its purpose

Where exactly is the gas lift unit and how much are they to get ?

Are the same units used in all chairs or are there different types ?

Also I have no costco near my and I cannot order from their .co.uk site as it is the same layout as the makro site.
