Cool New home phone rant

Yes it's time time to upgrade my home phones.
At present i have a pair of x1i (well I would have if one of my sons hadn't misplaced one of them) and I don't get on with them (it) to dinkey for me.
I went window shopping yesterday, as you do, to see what I could live with plenty of boxes on display but guess what (rant, rant) no actual phones on display.
Loads of mobiles pick up touch feel play with but no home phones Why?
How can one make an informed choice if one can not pick them up or is it just me?

Re: New home phone rant

maybe unless its a home phone shop theyve decided theyre not getting a large profit from home phones and using valuble space dedicated to something they get very little profit from would be pointless.

I can't see them making more mark up on mobiles though and there is plenty of space for them.

Re: New home phone rant

I agree mate.

I want a little black phone for my setup, but I too don't like the feel of some phones, and I'd like to see it physically and hold it up to my ear but they're all boxed.

Re: New home phone rant

Currys is where I ended up not one on display doh

I must admit I had half an eye on getting a couple of 450 verve's, half tempted with a couple of panasonic 8222's but like to see them first.
