As in what time do you leave and come back at?

I worked out although I do a 38 hour week, I do closer to 48 with travel included.

so taking into account traffic etc for an 8.30 - 5pm shift I leave at 7am and come back at 6pm so when I look at it that way my wages aren't so great as I first thought.

Just wondered if I was the only one spending so much time away?

both me and my partner can spend up to 90 hours at work in one week.

shifts starting from 9 hours right up to 15 hours a day and then sometimes i spend 48 hours straight at work

far to long i spend 7 hours a day at work my wife works 20 hours a week(keep telling her she is a kept woman) i do my full time hours of 37.5 hours a week i like spending time at home with my wife and little one that time you cant make up imo and money is nothing compared to it.
besides 7 hours a day in my job is more than enough

I work from home or am out with clients or internal meetings at HQ ... almost always exceeds 37.5 hrs including 'working dinners', overnight/weekend travel and evening and weekend time on reports/analyses (bloody pivot tables and metrics !!! )

I even dream about work!

Do around 60 hours a week excluding travel, so around 70+.

Currently working on the RBS, ABN merger so doing 6 day weeks.

Leave work at 4-4:30 arrive home at 5-5:30 (nightmare evening traffic)

40+ hour week plus planning/marking etc at home when necessary.

School trips occasionally duirng weekends/holidays/evenings add extra (unpaid) time too.

When I work from home, prob work from 9am to 6pm with very few breaks.

When I'm in London, I leave home about 5.30am and get home about 8.15pm

When I'm at our other office, I leave home about 5am and get home about 9pm.

I'm very glad that I can work at home 3 days per week!

Mind you, I've been working all day since 7.30 and still not quite finished

8am - 6pm Monday - Friday, But as an Oracle DBA there's always the evening chore of dialing into work and checking the database (As we have an US east coast office that we have to support) and the odd weekend to conduct maintenance throughout the year

I think I average about 70 or 80 hours a week. Sometimes more, sometimes less - that's why it's an average.

travel time is about 5 mins each was as i only work at the school at the top of the road

I'm racking up 80-85 hours over a 6 day week, including travel.

Only another 4 weeks left thankfully, I don't mind doing long days, but 6 day weeks are crap.

Just kidding, I also like to spend time with the better half, as it is, set off for work at 6.45 and get in about 6.30, currently in the process of trying to move closer to work but as ever, it's a long process. Be nice when we do though, up at 8, shower, read the paper, get the metro into work for 9 and then back home at 5.40

Been doing more or less that shift for 35 years but unfortunately set to retire shortly.

I consider myself fortunate as I've had 40 years of unbroken employment. Some employers today get rid of the young 'uns when they have to pay the full minimum wage.

Between 0 and 10 hours a day depending on what work I have on. And I have a commute of about 16 feet most days... there are occasional delays (cat to stroke, paper to read, that sorta thing) and sometimes I get re-routed via the kitchen to take on extra coffee but I try to be at my desk by 10am. Well... 11am ish some days... midday at the latest.

i work in a shop i can work anytime between 6am till 11pm and never anymore than 12 hours a shift usually 4hours up to 9hours a shift, travel takes 15 mins and i like to get there a little early to chill out. i do anywhere from 24 hours a week up to 50, now if you could cope not knowing where when and for how long your going to work, oh and dont forget im also talking about 7 days a week everyday except christmas day.
