Thumbs down Madeleine the Movie, whatever next........

Yes it could be true, talks are on going with a Hollywood producer to potentially make a film.

Is there nothing these people will stoop to? They almost seem to crave the attention. Why can they not just bear their loss like many others have to with dignity?

And what sort of film are we to expect? Not exactly going to be a thrilling story line with an unexpected ending is it

It beggers belief,it really does.......

Oh, their reason for it is it will increase awareness and may lead to finding her- as if we weren't aware enough

Re: Madeleine the Movie, whatever next........

According to whatever I saw it on this morning it's going to be a documentary for the TV rather than a movie.

Re: Madeleine the Movie, whatever next........

Concerning the McCann couple, I think that this stinks to high heaven, just like their explanation of events on the night of the poor child's demise.
They left her unattended to pursue their selfish pleasures, and whether they actually killed her or not, they are responsible for her fate.
I wish these two evil people the worst possible fortune.
May they rot in Hell.

Or maybe not

The parents of Madeleine McCann have denied reports they are backing plans to make a movie about their daughter's disappearance.

The couple's spokesman, Clarence Mitchell, confirmed he had met a major entertainment firm that wants to make a film about their story.

But Gerry McCann said on his website that he and his wife Kate had no plans for a movie about Madeleine.

The very fact they actually have a "Spokeman" makes me seeth. Who do they think they are royalty?

And why would he say something that they have not agreed, serves them right if you ask me.

Re: Madeleine the Movie, whatever next........

Well they may be denying it but C4 news last night had a statement from the company that made 'Touching the Void' saying that they had been contacted by the McCanns or 'their people' about the possibility of making a documentary about the little girl.

I too am also getting just a little fed up with this story. I know that may sound callous, but its just the never ending front pages on the tabloids saying that they know where she is, that she will be home for Xmas, that she is definitely dead, that she id definitely alive, that she's in Africa etc etc etc.

I agree that the McCann's are getting too much leeway - they did wrong and must face up to this.

But the way its all going seems to be annoying a lot of people - even those that I knew who seemed to worry about Maddy don't seem to care any more.

And for the record, I always thought there was something very sus about the whole incident.

Agreed. Something very sinister.

But we'll never know because of the incompetence of the Portugeuse police, not securing the crime scene at first and by not arresting them on suspision straight away, as UK police do as in that childrens BBC presenters murder.

It really would be a story if she did get prosecuted and sent down for having a hand in affair!

Re: Madeleine the Movie, whatever next........

dont worry the book will be out soon.

I still dont get why this couple have got the attention they have. Its a sad fact but alot of children go missing every year but dont get this kind of coverage, children that go missing through no fault of the parents dont get this kind of money or help, but parents that leave there children on their own to go and eat with friends get all the help in the world, in this documentry will it highlight the fact that they left their children alone and should be done for neglet

I still can't believe they have been allowed to keep their other kids throughout all of this.

I think that just about sums up the view of most fair-minded folk. It wouldn't surprise me if they next replace that Clarence bloke (ex-BBC) with Max Clifford
