Will the Gordon Brown supporters please stand up

Sorry, Gordon Brown...

Come on, there must be somebody who likes him? Anybody?

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main...-mostviewedbox

Quote:
Gordon Brown's personal approval rating has slumped to an all-time low as a Daily Telegraph opinion poll today shows that Labour would lose 100 MPs if an election was held now....
... Sixty per cent of people are now "dissatisfied" with Mr Brown as Prime Minister compared to 27 per cent in July and 48 per cent in October. Only 24 per cent of those polled say they are "satisfied" with the job he has done during his first six months in office.

Re: Will the George Brown supporters please stand up

I can picture the scene now.

Gordon looks around the large empty hall at his next rally. The tumble weeds blow across the foot of the stage and only the spiders provide an audience to Gordons tears.....

..... but whats this, the faint sound of drums, horns and harmonicas can be heard and it steadily gets louder.
Gordons heart starts to lift and antipation mounts as the cacophony grows louder.
Gordon holds his breath as rear doors fling open .... and in walks Captain La grande siente and his one man band, playing his little heart out in his ' Gordon Rocks ' t-shirt.

Slowly Gordons right eye begins to twitch, he reaches down to his brief case and pulls out a revolver and raises it to his temple.
He appears to struggle with an internal dialogue for the briefest of moments before catch sight of Captain La grande sientes frenzied knee cymbal crashing and quickly pulls the trigger.

The camera pans out as the one man band runs in slow motion to the stage, harmonica's and drums spinning off in like forrest gumps bracers .... camera fades out on la grande siente as he kneels craddling Gordons head on his lap and, tears streaming, cries out to his God for salvation.

I've noticed someone must have been teaching Gordon Brown that awful sickly Tony Blair smile, recent news clips of him really show how false it looks.

Re: Will the George Brown supporters please stand up

That George von Brun does look like a caricature, doesn't he?

A bit too "Friday afternoon before the summer holidays" Madam Tussuad's?

Surely it's not make-up? I thought that went out with wotsisname... ..you know... the grammar school ventriloquist's dummy.

Oh come on... Archie...? or Tony something? Don't help me. I'll get it in a minute. It's on the tip of my tongue...

Um..shi..shi-shi....shi... I swear he was the spitting image of that bloke sitting on the floor with a bottle of cooking Cherry.

Grrrr... Anthony Blur! There! I knew I'd get it in the end.

He was married for a while to that famous Catherine Tate person, wasn't he?

Yes, notice the smile never reaches his eyes; A sure sign he's being insincere. Either that or he has something like Asperger's Syndrome. I bet his speeches include stage directions like [smile] to remind him.

Oh! come now LGS, surely it won't take another 7 years before you realise that he has to be the most incompetant bungling oaf that has ever graced the position of Prime Minister.

He was useless as a Chancellor, and will prove even less useful in his present role.

Luckily for the country, he has been sussed.

For all the faults Brown has, he still seems genuine compared to Cameron.

I think I'd almost rather Nick Griffin was our next PM ahead of Cameron.

Mr Photo Op sickens me to the core.

Cameron is one of those ***** that wants to be PM for the publicity rather than actually because he has a mandate and wants to take our country forward.

The media have decided he is no good, I will wait and make up my own mind as he has some testing times ahead.

agreed ,Brown comes across as reasonably sincere compared to the slippery chameleon like Cameron.
Pople love to bang on about the mistakes brown has made but for me its how a person responds to them matters. So far he's been ok.Nothing alarming so far.

No. Never had any.

Never liked any politicians or political parties. But Brown and the current labour government seem even more inept than those before them.

Hence my failure to understand how anyone can see anything positive in them and put for doing a good job.

What postive things have they done? All I can see is a series of bungles and ineptitude.

So I would like to try some of the rose tinted glasses that LGS uses to see if I can see the world from his perspective.
