Unhappy theiving *****rs

one week before xmas and some dirty scum broke in to my mates house today

Smashed glass, all over the baby's stuff, from the broken window and the upstairs of the house ransacked

Irreplaceable jewellery taken and their camera and cam-corder full of baby footage
The rest of the missing items are easily replaced but the sentimental stuff is not.

Re: theiving *****rs

That's what the PC told us Paul. Several of the estates in the Slough area have hit tonight.

Re: theiving *****rs

There's been a spate of burglaries around my area according to the local press, the scum are obviously expecting to find lots of presents and stuff lying around Mind you, they'd get short change at my house as I still haven't bought anything.

Re: theiving *****rs

real scum at this time of year, its low any time but at xmas, well if they get caught they should be given extra punishment for ruining a happy time of the year for a new family.

last week we had a white light up 6ft tree outside, had it last year also but this year both my children are old enough to appreciate (1 and a half and 2 and a half) woke up one morning to find it smashed all over the floor, looks like they tried to rob it but couldnt (as the plug was indoors) my eldest was so upset and then she said "the boys and girls broke it"

id hate to be someone that caught someone doing something like this however as i know i would get in more trouble for what i would do to them, and then feel sorry for the police officer that have to do me for what i done, to protect themselves, as im sure they would agree with what i dont to this type of person

Exclamation Re: theiving *****rs

Mylo,

Sorry to hear about your mate's house being done over. It seems to be a "normal" occurence now, each year around this time, and the theives seem to be able to quite literally get away with it, with no chance of being caught, let alone punished.

They're all scumbags, who should be shot, as far as I'm concerned, for the misery and suffering they cause hard-working, normal individuals and families!

Re: theiving *****rs

Sorry to hear it - happened to me last Friday. All sorts of stuff gone, but it's the sentimental stuff that's hardest (the video camera had the disk of my son's 2nd birthday in it and they took my wife's wedding & engagement rings from a drawer).

Re: theiving *****rs

Damn this makes me mad! It is all so futile too because they will never be caught. How can anyone find who did it?

Re: theiving *****rs

My sympathies Mylo....Xmas really is a mixed bag at times.

It's the sentimental items that really hurt, and the fact that someone has been in your own home.

Sorry to hear it.

Hope they were insured, because the police sure aren't going to do anything about it...

Re: theiving *****rs

Mark and Nat say thanks for the kind words

Luckily baby Harry is too little to know what is going on and this will not spoil his xmas.

It's been a timely reminder to us all, to try and keep some sort of record for valuables. Digital pics kept off site will help the police if the goods ever resurface.
