It may sound strange to call someone who had a 4 foot metal spike through their skull lucky, but wow. Surviving THIS is amazing.
And what a great imaging.

Just going off topic a bit, reading through that article made me chuckle thinking of how my boss (a Hindu indian) is always telling me how advanced India is nowadays etc,- just how advanced is a country where a serious accident like this happens and a guy who has been speared through the head gets taken to hospital in a bloody rickshaw, and on it for an hour, and then has to endure another 3 hour journey to somehwere that could treat him. Thats really advanced!!!!

Thats really advanced!!!! | 3 hours to get to a good hospital in rural India doesn't surprise me. the Roads are shocking.
a 150km drive on major roads took us almost 5 hours recently
and you'd be amazed what they do carry in Rickshaw's!

They were filming the new "Final Destination" horror film at the time the bus crashed.

Wasn't there a thread on here recently showing an NHS patient on a trolley at a bus stop?
The Health Service is a joke here too, not only in India, plus they saved him.

If I had been him, when the rickshaw stopped at the lights I would have jumped off and nipped into the corner shop to buy a lottery ticket. He was a cert.

Thats really advanced!!!! | It's def. not an advanced looking country - 75% of India is a shithole basically. But around 80% of the worlds programmers come from India and along with China, we (India) have the fatest growing economy (or something or other).
