Brilliant. Reminds me of Star Trek 4 with Scotty holding a Mac mouse to his mouth and saying "computorrrr, compuuuutoorrrr"

I reckon Granddad will have the last laugh as computers of the future will have a credit card/pin number slot reader added.

Barclays are rolling this out: www.barclays.co.uk/pinsentry

- two step authentication, like the VPN smartcard readers many of us have

Is this really true? I just can't imagine me not being interested in technology and the like. Is there a specific age where we turn?

That might not be the issue. It could be that we will be too old to be eligible for the required implants or, even then, to be intellectually still malleable enough to adapt to them.

His not so daft. It's already started to a degree. Nat West sent me a card reader which i now have to use on certain transactions with my on-line account and it's a pain.

I am afraid it will happen to us all. First our fashion sense goes down the pan, then we start preferring music from our era and finally we end being happy with a goodmans home cinema which we don't know what half the features do.

Its a sad state of affairs.

Fond but disturbing memory my late gramps pulling out in front of some poor soul at a roundabout.

His only comment on the near miss: "bloody idiot, doesn't he know you aways give way to the left at roundabouts!!" He'd only been driving for 60 years bless him.
