Question Weird Font/Typeface Help Please

Hi,

Does anyone know where I can get hold of this weird 1980's font/typeface, that tended to be seen on various (predominantly) horror-movie video covers from the 1980's, please?

If you notice, it's a font that looks like it has been fractured/distorted, and then moved slightly ajar (at an angle) to produce the effect shown in the various links shown below.

If anyone knows what the font/typeface is called, and/or where I can get hold of it from, I'd be very grateful.

WARNING: I apologise, in advance, but some of the images, are fairly gory, lurid and garish, so they are probably not suitable for the younger members of AV Forums. If you feel you may be distressed by the images, then please don't click on the links shown below!

Thanks, in advance.

Hi Pooch

try this site

http://www.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont/

you need a JPEG/GIF sample of the font (upload it) and it will scan the image and see if it matches any fonts in its database
