NHS! in crisis

I could not believe my eyes today while driving down Leith Walk in edinburgh.

As usual I was looking around while parked in traffic, when out of the corner of my eye i catch a glimpse of .....

A hospital bed with a patient in it!

This thing is parked at the bus stop, fully loaded with patient, oxygen mask and botlle!

there is no ambulance in site, no sirens etc

got a pic but really does not do it justice

do not know if it was a stunt or it was for real

I can only guess they got a better paying private patient and dropped this bloke off untill they could return!

im annoyed with the pic, because it does not capture the guy lying there.

This man looked as white as a sheet, with the mask on!

It looked hilarious!

Send it to the BBC with the full story you just gave. Seriously. It's easy to submit pics and put the story with it.

Brilliant Geomuss - we need to find out who this person is and why they were at a bus stop. I agree, email the story to the Beeb or to your local rag.

Is that the highest res you have, I may be able to improve the patient for you, but if it's a camera phone i doubt there is much I can do

I have searched the local papers for any stories but have not come across anything yet.

dave its from a camera phone, dont think much could be done with it but if you wanting a copy let me know!

It was a publicity stunt for the Flu vaccination

There I was looking forward to seeing the lurid Daily Mail headlines, and all it was was a flu jab stunt!

if your engine is on they can (and will) still do you for using the phone...
