It is what it's says it is.. it's not about philosophical debates!!!

i think we all need to lighten up a bit

we all share the same interest (av) , if not the same ideas

i liken G/C to a good Chinese, you digest as much as you can ,but within an hour it's all forgotten about

so please, can we have the laughs back

there is no such thing as a good Chinese - how dare you not mention that most wonderfull of dishes - the ruby murry !

I demand you appologise and send round a couple of popadoms to every member as penance.

It's a democracy isn't it? Don't get me wrong, I like the comedy side of things more than not, but if someone wants to let rip in General chat - let 'em. To satisfy your Comedy requirements perhaps the Mods would set you up another sub forum for "Laughs, chuckles and the occasional guffaws only forum"? See below - see what I mean? BoaT

I am going rent out Darkman as that may be more appropriate atm what with my burns and personality traits

Actually I rented out 300 and Bridge to Terabithia - I nice mix of blood n guts .... and childrens pg fantasy film ... might explain my state of mind somewhat hehehe.

Fair point, Mr S - I accept your view. I'm slightly sensitive to constraints being applied. I remember not to long ago when "The great one" posited the theory that General Chat should be wound up, as too many people were spending time and posting here rather than in the other techie forums on AVForums. Thankfully Stuart came back from the brink. TBH I don't want to go elsewhere; quite like having a general chat here and on any topic - decency and all the other rules allowing.

And in reply to Signs...........point well made........but you should be free to discuss most things here (with all due regard to good taste, etc)......though I must agree that the laughs do seem to have diminished of late.
