In the olden days, when snooker was black and white and computers were computers - the 80's. Most people who had computers would program them using a language called BASIC (Beginners All-purpose Symbolic Instruction Code).
One of the very first programs most people would write would be the "Hello World" program. Which consisted of:
10 PRINT "Hello World"
20 GOTO 10
What the above really says is:
Print to the screen the words Hello World
Go back to line 10 and repeat.
The output would be:
Hello World
Hello World
Hello World
Hello World
Hello World
Hello World
Hello World
... ad infinitum ... until the user exited out of the loop.
