Reccomend me a holiday in UK...

Not going anywhere big (overseas ) this year, so want a small holiday, say for a few days to somewere in UK, preferably in Eng/Scotland/Wales?

Looking for something very cheap, where there are like coach services that take you out to see various places.

Very open question...

Lake district. We stay at a campsite just above Keswick. Fantastic views, and kind of central. Are there any kids with you?

EDIT:We stay here and it is very family friendly.

Cornwall has some great coastline as do the areas surrounding Scarborough, if that's on you're agenda.

My other half keeps bugging me about taking her to The Gower Peninsula, but I don't think it will be cheap as it has been voted as one of the top 10 beaches in the world.

Derbyshire is a nice part of the UK for an inland break, nice places to go, pretty places to see etc..

Matlock/Ashbourne/Buxton/Eyam

The Gower is nice but Pembrokeshire is prettier with fantastic beaches and lots more to do.

i completly(sp) agree with me living here. plenty of adults places to go and plenty of activities for those with kids.

accomdation can range from expensive to cheap depending on the budget, if you want cheaper i would say go towards matlock bath and on towards derby because the further you go into the peak district the higher the prices are.

Cottage holiday in the Scottish highlands.

Incredible scenery, loads to do and see and pretty cheap too.
