Lucky Escape

Yesterday My Den was flooded this is where all my home cinema equipment is kept the water came in through the garage at the front and through the partition straight through the middle of the room!

I got off lightly as the corner of the room where some of my electrical equipment is is the only part that did not get wet.

Its unbelievable how filthy the carpet is. Worse case scenario I think is that we will have to replace the carpet.

Loads of shops including Curry's got flooded yesterday and had to close as well.
Anyone else been affected?

Floods in Surrey what ever next.

Re: Lucky Escape

I spent yesterday afternoon trying to keep the water out of my parents place in Berkshire. We just about managed it, the water only got into the hallway and it's not all that bad.

They're road is on a slope and they were the last 'dry' house, everyone lower than them was flooded. That must be around 25 houses. The water was up to 4 feet deep in places.
