permanant hair dye removal from lino

hi all
i wonder if you can help but a neighbour has spilt a bit of permanant hair dye on her floor and the dog has walked on the lino putting foot prints all over it has dried over night any ideas how to remove it she has tried bleach,toothpaste and sugar ,sugar and washing up liquid ,nailpolish remover,creme cleaner,solvant any ideas would help she cant afford new lino which would be the easiest answer

This reminds me of my episode with the curry paste Though I said that was vinyl, it could well be lino; who knows

Dishwasher paste. Leave, then remove. If that doesn't work; nothing will. I do not recommend you go down the path of sugar soap, turpentine and white spirit like I did Dangerous stuff

Also, congratulations on being brave enough to out yourself

Cleaning baked in stain on vinyl floor...

I here Coke used to be great for removing really bad stains. Don't know if the same rubbish is still put into it, but worth a try.

Totally OT, but this has reminded me of Ozzy Osbourne once snorting a line of coke off the kitchen floor of a member of Motley Crue ... it actually turned out to be some dried sugary stuff that had spilled on the floor with a line of ants along it
