Ambient Orb

Does anyone else have an irrational want for one of these little glowing balls?

I can't even work out what I'd do with it, I just want one!

Re: Ambient Orb

Mathmos do a very similar one but it's rubber coated - you can chuck it at the wall to turn it on and off... or anything else you wish to throw it at

Re: Ambient Orb

I think its more the way that this thing reacts to data trends ie weather , stock market, etc.

You can build your own , its not that difficult I believe , just some LEDs that are programmed to modulate their intensity according to data provided from the net.
